Andrea Baillo has broad research plus innovation experience and will lead OBX’s research and development (R& D) strategy.
In her new role, Baillo may oversee all r and d efforts at OBX, including component R& D, product development, and ingredient plus product safety and efficacy research. She will guide global research engagements with partners, clients, academia, and non-governmental organizations; help build the pipeline of leading science plus technology talent at OBX; and provide leadership associated with the OBX Product and R& Deb Teams.

Baillo is an experienced scientist with a demonstrated history of working in cannabis research, development, and manufacturing, cancer study, and food and beverage industries. Baillo has served because Vice President of Research and Innovation for OBX since July 2021 , and she previously served as Senior Director, Study & Development, Quality in Green Thumb Industries (GTI). She is known for the girl focus on product protection and stability while promoting and supporting basic and applied analysis assuring science is at the forefront associated with R& D in highly regulated markets. Baillo attended Wayne State University College of Medicine where the girl completed her PhD within cancer biology.
