The Division of Arts and Humanities at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for an open rank Artistry Professor (continuing contract) for a multi year appointment in printmaking to begin on September 1st 2023 in The Art and Artwork History Program . We are looking for an artist who is versed in the expanded industry of printmaking to encompass drawing, painting, photography plus specialist printmaking techniques. We would especially welcome expertise in lithography, screen printing and etching. The candidate should be open to teach and explore the various cultural histories of the field. We seek an artist and the dynamic teacher-scholar with an MFA and a track record associated with excellence within both training and creative work and the professional background to train all levels of undergraduate and graduate level. It is expected that the successful candidate will help develop and expand the resources of the existing printmaking studio from NYUAD. Responsibilities include undergrad and graduate student teaching plus advising within the Program, teaching in the particular Core Curriculum, and support to the university.
